The room at Castle Lodge was incredibly cozy and comfortable, with premium bedding that made me feel right at home. I loved the fact that the room had a private bathroom with free toiletries, making my stay even more convenient. The satellite TV in the double room was a great addition, allowing me to relax and unwind after a long day of exploring. As a vegetarian/vegan, I appreciated the in-room refrigerator and microwave, making it easy for me to store and prepare my own meals. The kitchenette in the apartment was a fantastic feature, giving me the flexibility to cook my own food during my stay.

Personally, I found the inclusion of a bathtub or shower in the bathroom to be a bit unnecessary, but I understand that others may enjoy this feature.

The entertainment Lapa and pool braai area for exclusive Guest use was a blast! We had so much fun grilling by the pool, it felt like our own little private party. The atmosphere was lively and the staff made sure we had everything we needed. It was like having our own personal vacation spot.

Payment mix-up

As backpackers, we loved the convenience of Castle Lodge's proximity to the airport and its affordable rates. The spacious family room was perfect for us, and the homely atmosphere made us feel comfortable. We were impressed by the friendly and cool reception staff, especially the bodybuilder guy. The breakfast provided was delicious, with a good selection of continental options and the option for a hot breakfast upon request. The hotel also had clean and comfortable rooms, as well as nice grounds and a swimming pool.

I had a fantastic stay at this hotel. The room was well-appointed and had all the amenities I needed, including a jet bath, fridge, microwave, and comfortable bed. The staff were super friendly and provided excellent service. The location was ideal, close to Jet Park, the airport, and Emperors Palace. The rates were also very reasonable.
